Hit the nettle

"Hit the nettle" is a project I started a long time ago, but unfortunately, I never managed to finish it. So now I’m sharing a raw prototype of the game.
If people like it and show interest, I might return to development and turn it into a full release

🎮 How to Play:

By clicking on the nettle, you “extract” souls from it — this is the main in-game currency. Souls can be used to purchase attack and defense upgrades that help you progress further.

There were plans to add unique upgrades with a separate currency, but the project is currently frozen, so these mechanics are not implemented.

⚔️ Nettle Attack:

From time to time, an event occurs — the nettle attack. During this event, the nettle activates a shield. If you click on the shield, you lose some of your collected souls.

To end the nettle attack, you need to collect a certain number of leaves that fall during the event. Once enough leaves are collected, the nettle attack stops.

💥 Attack Upgrades:

Attack upgrades are located at the top of the shop:

• weakest on the left
• strongest on the right

The first upgrade gives +1 attack, and each subsequent upgrade gives +1 more than the previous one.
However, each upgrade also makes the nettle attack event more difficult by increasing the number of leaves required.

🛡️ Defense:

Defense upgrades are located in the center of the shop:

• The first reduces the penalty when clicking on the shield
• The second increases the interval between nettle attacks
• The third reduces the number of leaves required to end the nettle attack
